It was surf’s up for Jessica’s bat mitzvah.  She’s a wonderful young lady and it was a pleasure doing portraits with her and her family.  It was a beautiful morning so we even had a chance to get some great photos outside too.  Saturday night it was Hawaiian Luau time.  The Four Season’s Dance Studio was decked out with balloons, a Tiki Bar and Lei’s for everyone walking in the door.  The Level 11 crew was on hand energizing the dance floor and playing games for Jessica’s very enthusiastic crowd.  It was a very fun night to cap of a big wave weekend for Jessica.  Mazel tov!

Robbie’s bar mitzvah was full of summertime fun.  It was so nice to work with his family again, capturing all the fun memories of his big weekend.  We did portraits on Friday at the synagogue and then again on Saturday morning before services.  Robbie did a fantastic job leading services.  I know his parents are very proud.  Saturday night then was time to relax on the shores of Lake Minnetonka for some camp style fun and celebration. With games like Gaga, Roof Ball, Capture the flag and Tug-o-war, Amy Zaroff + Events did a wonderful job planning and running the show.  Knocker Ball was new one to me with everyone climbing into these giant inflatable balls and having a good old time bumping and bouncing their way around the yard. Later in the evening Ross and the A-List crew fired up the dance floor with some good tunes and dancing.  Couldn’t have asked for a better summer evening celebrating a great young man.  Mazel tov Robbie!

Mazel tov to Max and his family on his recent bat mitzvah.  I had a great time photographing his big weekend.  Saturday morning portraits and service photos and then Saturday night it was time to get Medieval at Oak Ridge Country Club.  Amy Zaroff + Events had the place looking quite regal after a quick change of plans due to some weather concerns.  Daring flame breathers and a tasty maple syrup dipping station greeting guests as they arrived.  Inside the ballroom it was Sarge and the Level 11 crew on hand with games and dancing and bouncy jousting station for kids of all ages.  It was a fun crowd and a special evening fit for a king.
