Through the years as his sisters celebrated their bat mitzvahs, I’ve had the pleasure to photograph this young man and see him grow. It’s always been fun working with his family and this time was no different.  We had a great portrait session earlier in the week with the family.  Then Saturday evening it was time for him to become Glow Man!  With the help of a very talented cousin, Daniel entertained his guests with a fantastic video about his alter-ego, Glow Man, that lead into his grand entrance and a Horah.  Now that’s the way to get a party started.  Sarge and the crew from Level 11 was on hand, keeping the place grooving all night long for Daniel and his friends.  It was good food, good friends and good times for Daniel’s big night.

Mazel tov to Daniel and his family.  It’s been a blast!  Enjoy the video recap and then follow this link to see all the great photos from Daniel’s Bar Mitzvah.

Bar Mitzvah photography

There was a New Orlean’s flare to Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah a few weeks ago and boy was it a blast!  With his family being originally from New Orlean’s you couldn’t blame them for wanting share some of that Cajun love with their Minnesota friends.  Oak Ridge Country Club was decked out with a Mardi Gras look and feel that said party till you drop.  The crew from Level 11 was on hand to keep Ethan and his friends moving and shaking on the dance floor.  It was a fun crowd and good times topped of with Beignets and King cake for dessert.  How could you go wrong?

Mazel tov to Ethan and his family.  Enjoy the party recap video and then follow this link to his online gallery of all the great photos from Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah weekend.

It was Game On for Gabe’s bar mitzvah weekend a few weeks ago.  We started the weekend with some extended family photos on Friday evening before dinner. Saturday morning it was rise and shine to grab some great portraits before Gabe’s service.  He did an excellent job by all accounts and everyone was ready to let loose and celebrate.  Basketball is Gabe’s game and the ladies from Amy Zaroff + Events had Oak Ridge Country Club ready for the tip with some court-side style.  The place look fantastic.  Guests arrived and it was time to party with A-List Entertainment running the dance floor and Gabe’s grand entrance escorted by a few of girls from the Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Team really wow’d the crowd.  Gabe did a great job keeping up with the ladies and enjoyed the entire evening.  It was quite a ride.  Mazel tov to Gabe and his family.

Bar mitzvah portraits

It’s been such a pleasure photographing Jake’s family as they celebrated his brother’s and sister’s B’nai Mitzvah’s through the years, it’s now a little bit sad for me that Jake’s the last one.  Jake has grown in to a fine young man and like the rest of the family was so great to work with.  We had a fun portrait session on Friday before services and then Saturday night it was time party at the Marriot.  A large contingent of family was in town from Chicago to help Jake celebrate and they were ready to dance as the A-List Entertainment crew keep the tunes and games flowing on the dance floor all night long.  It was another great weekend celebrating a great kid.  Mazel Tov to Jake and his family.  Thank you for including me in your simcha once again.

Enjoy the photos and video recap of the party and then follow this link to see all the photos from Jake’s Bar Mitzvah.
