Mason

I remember when Mason was just a little guy at his cousin’s bar mitzvah.  So fun to see him grown up and having his own bar mitzvah now.  We did a portrait session early on Saturday before services and then afterward friends and family gathered at Cafe Lurcat to celebrate.  The great food and awesome desserts took care of everyones appetite, and then Keith King from Simply Entertaining got the games and music rolling to spice up the rest of the afternoon.  The always popular wax hands crew was also on hand sculpting everyones digits.  It was a great afternoon for a great kid!  Mazel tov Mason!

Evan_Bar_Mitzvah

Good times were had celebrating Evan’s bar mitzvah recently.  We had a wonderful evening for portraits at the synagogue both inside and out.  Evan was a blast to work with as was the rest of his family.  Saturday evening friends and family gathered at International Market Square to celebrate Evan’s Awesome Krew.  It was a fun loving crowd with Sarge and his Level 11 crew on hand to help lead the festivities kick everything up a notch.  Dancing, games, great food and of course a photo booth all helping to make it a night for Evan to remember.

Mazel tov, Evan.  You did great!  Enjoy the photos and video recap and then follow this link to see all the photos from Evan’s bar mitzvah.

JackBarMitzvah

Mazel tov to Jack and his family on his bar mitzvah a few weeks ago.  He’s a great kid and was super easy to work with. We got some wonderful portraits at his synagogue the day before the big event and then Saturday evening was time to party down at the Metropolitan Club.  Always a great venue. Of course we had Sarge and the gang from Level 11 on hand, mixing it up on the dance floor, playing games and running their cool new photo booth mirror.  It was a fun, relaxed crowd and everyone had a great time, especially Jack.

Charlie

It was double trouble a few weeks ago as I had the pleasure to work with two wonderful families for Charlie and Jackson’s B’nai Mitzvah.  Both of them are very photogenic and made my job very enjoyable as I captured their big weekend.  With multiple portrait sessions and photographing them as they lead services on Saturday morning, there was a lot going on.  They did an awesome job and were very ready to celebrate Saturday evening at 43 Hoops in Hopkins.  Ross and the Crew from A-List Entertainment was there turning a portion of the courts into a huge dance floor and organizing some challenging games of athletic skill.  There was the always popular Velcro wall bouncy, a blow-up field goal booth and speed-pitch booth and lots and lots of basketball.  Great food, good friends and fun games made for quite the evening.

Mazel tov to both Charlie and Jackson.  We got some wonderful photos so check out the video recap and then follow this link to see all the great photos from Charlie and Jackson’s B’nai Mitzvah

Jack_Bar_Mitzvah

It’s been a couple years since I photographed Jack’s brother’s bar mitzvah. Jack was fun to work with back then and nothing has changed.  He’s a great kid and it was a thrill to work with his family again.  The portrait session went fabulously and then Saturday evening it was time let it all out in celebration at the Big Thrill Factory in Minnetonka.  It was nice to see so many familiar faces.  After dinner was served the kids were let loose to enjoy all the entertainment they could handle. Laser tag, video games, miniature golf, and bowling just to name a few.  Keeping up with Jack and his friends was quite the challenge.  I’m sure the evening was a Big Thrill for Jack and all his guests.
