Jake’s Bar Mitzvah party at Gold’y Game Room at the University of Minnesota was an aptly named celebration. The first snowfall of the season made travel a little tricky, but despite the slow start it was a fun and entertaining evening for all. Having photographed Jake’s older brother Max’s bar mitzvah a few years ago, it was great to see and work with his family again. They have always been a pleasure to work with.
Bowling, billiards, & video games is the name of the game at Goldy’s, and Jake and his friends had a great time playing them all. Even the adults got in on some of the evening’s action. Over in the corner they were creating some wild, airbrushed stocking caps and the tatoo booth was kept busy all night long. Looked like the Superman “S” was the popular tatoo, from what I could tell. There was a great buffet of Greek food and a coffee bar to keep everyone warm and energized. Jake’s a great kid and it was a blast working with him.
