Josh’s bar mitzvah was a knockout! Okay, there I said it. It’s always a pleasure to work with Josh’s family and this time was no different. We had a wonderful portrait session at their synagogue earlier in the week and then it was time to lace’m up at the Uppercut Gym in north Minneapolis on Saturday night. The gym had a great vibe walking in, with Josh’s personal sports memorabilia decorating the room and Ross and the A-List Entertainment DJ booth staged up in the boxing ring. There was some great food and concession stand with mini donuts and snow cones. Between the dancing, sports video games and Grant Cohen showing off his caricature skills, it was a fun night that went the full 12 rounds.
