We started Katie’s Bat Mitzvah on a warm and sunny Saturday morning, with some quick portraits before her service. I then stayed through to photograph the double Bat Mitzvah service from the balcony. Katie and her friend both did fabulous jobs and we got some great shots of her up on the Bimah, during the service.
Party time that evening was at the Westin Galleria. After catching some fun shots of Katie and her family, her guests arrived and it was time to have some fun. Sarge and Level 11 crew opened up the dance floor for the evening. Katie and her friends all grabbed a pair of brightly colored dance socks and posed for a great photo. Adults mingled out in the lobby with drinks and hors d’oeuvre till dinner was served.
Dancing, games and the photo booth kept everyone busy and moving. After the video, Sarge got the crowd fired up on the dance floor for a big Hora. It was a great dancing crowd and we got some excellent photos of Katie up on the chair. Katie’s a sweet young lady and I know she had a wonderful weekend.
