I had the pleasure to help celebrate Laura’s bat mitzvah recently. Photographing her brother Sam’s bar mitzvah a few years back was a blast and this time was no different. Laura’s family has always been a treat to work with. We captured some portraits earlier in the week and then Saturday morning I joined them for Laura’s service and hung around to finish the afternoon with a few more family photos. Laura did an amazing job helping to lead services. I know her friends and family are proud of her. Saturday night everyone gathered at the Minneapolis Central Public Library and my colleague, Myron Wolf, was there to photograph all the fun action in my place. Ross and the A-list Entertainment crew were on hand also, keeping the dance moving and groov’in all night. There was good food, good friends and an all-around good time had by all. I was sorry I couldn’t be there.
