I’ve been so impressed this year by the upbeat and positive nature that so many families have dealt with the Covid challenges to their special family celebrations. Siggy’s family was the epitome of that. Not only having to adjust their plans due to the pandemic, but also dealing with a surprise October snow storm. With the help of Amy Zaroff + Events, they pulled it off with true fun and style.
We gathered Friday evening for a little family portrait session in Siggy’s home. Saturday morning I was back to capture a portion of the morning service via Zoom. Siggy did an awesome job. Then it was time to party in the back yard with a sports themed celebration, Yes SIR!. The party was broken into innings, with each inning allowing an intimate group of friends and family to join the festivities. Inflatable basketball and pitching games, backyard football and a DJ kept the backyard hopping. And when everyone got a little hungry their were some great ballpark-style box lunches and a S’mores bar.
It was a pleasure to help Siggy and his family help turn a cold weekend into a wonderfully warm event. Mazel tov, Siggy!
